Inspired by the Arctic Tern, a creature known for the longest migration in the known biosphere, the fighter's silhouette mirrors its namesake: razor-winged, impossibly agile, and tireless.
The fleet uses sub-atmospheric slingshot maneuvers through gas giant rings to launch needle volleys from impossible angles.
A smooth, metallic skin of silver and gold that bends radar, dissipates heat, and reflects light to mimic open sky.
Though thousands of Terns now streak across the stars, each is hand-crafted, each pilot bonded for life. The Tern is not just a fighter—it’s a symbol. A defiance of extinction. A whisper in the sky that says: “We still own the air.”
I made the sleek Tern Fighter Sculpture, that I crafted from brass, aluminium, some natural gemstones, glass and copper.
Each metal contributes its own texture and tone, highlighting the razor-winged impossibly agile tern.
