The beauty of objets d'art lies in transformation of functional every day objects, shaped by artistic vision , craftsmanship and attention to detail into beauty that goes beyond their functionality.
Mother Dragon called Antikythera is guarding the Treasure Vault.
She receives help from her three babies in guarding the precious treasure with magical powers.
An otherworldly glowing nest diorama hanging on chains from Guardian Dragon's mouth watching over the younger dragon generations.
This sculpture contemplates the symbiotic relationship of air transformed into energy which in turn creates life force.
Creating an insect cross dragon, the is a mythical fire breathing machine that would clear the world of all evil flying over territories, raining fire and shooting crossbow bolts on the enemy below.
A large element of science fiction revolves around fantastical fighter machines ready for fierce battles. Each insectoid fighter machine sculpture is intricately detailed conveying movement and action capturing the excitement and energy of a space battle.
There is a new lower class of rubbish that has emerged in the last couple of hundred years that needed removal from the cesspool of depraved souls. The task landed on my desk to build the Soul Catcher.
Soul Grasp Chimera flies in ruined skies above battlefields of soul-scarred lands.
With it's ghoul-like face and grotesque fusion of malice in glowing eyes, it hunts down the utterly depraved.
My depiction art dedicated to children suffering unbelievable cruelty. There is a cross for each one of the eight hundred innocent babies, starved, neglected and abused to death. All this, in the care of the Catholic Church order of the Sisters of Bon Secours in Tuam.
This sculpture is inspired by the giant Hercules beetle, known for it's fierce strength like his namesake Hercules the hero of classical mythology.
My inspiration as metal artist, is a futuristic armored form with sci-fi aesthetics, which highlight the beauty of insects through industrial materials reflecting craftsmanship, texture, and light interplay on metallic surfaces.
The Dragonfly Fighter is an Insectoid class flying war machine that is used in the war against the Reptilian class land based war machines.
This war has been raging for as long as living memory and does not look like ending soon.
Inspired by the Arctic Tern, a creature known for the longest migration in the known biosphere, the fighter's silhouette mirrors its namesake: razor-winged, impossibly agile, and tireless.
Inspired by the rhinoceros beetle Dynastinae, this Rhino Swarm Fighter Machine took many twists and turns before completion.
The Queen together with two controllers use her Neutrino cannon with devastating effect.
I was tasked to build a durable Alien Spacecraft combining my imagination with raw industrial mechanical realism.
The Alien Spacecraft is less about smooth perfection and more about rough tactile surfaces.
Nature inspires and injects vibrant colors into the metal sculptures. From minute leaf slugs and tree hoppers to a hummingbird in all its glory one strives to imitate the perfection of nature.
Nest Sculpture artfully captures the motion of the energetically hovering hummingbird feasting on the nourishing nectar of the flowering life force.
The name Fodiator comes from one of the genera of flying fish.
With this sculpture, I wanted the bow to have an automatic bow string grab and tensioner.
The Ecuadorian Treehopper metal sculpture is inspired by a tiny, otherworldly insect barely 8 mm long. Each curve, rivet, and polished surface captures the elegance of the treehopper.
The sculpture in it's brightly iridescent hue captures the magnificence of this charming miniature sea creature. It highlights the mostly hidden beauty and diversity of marine life, drawing attention to the importance of conservation and protection of ocean ecosystems.
Metal texture and tone, highlights the insect's elegant yet menacing form.
Sail Flying Sculpture, a vessel of dreams, carrying those who long not for destination, but for presence.
The beauty of objets d'art lies in transformation of functional every day objects, shaped by artistic vision , craftsmanship and attention to detail into beauty that goes beyond their functionality.
Time, that construct that only moves forward.....
Whether one faces East, West South or North.
I decided to make a Steam Boiler embodying a retro-futuristic style to power several steam engines that I made.
Keeping a steampunk feel, I made a bunch of supports and chimney and a pressure relief valve.
This machine is an oscillating cylinder steam engine, also known as a “wobbler”.
This one, however, is unique made entirely out of carved faceted cubic zirconia and gold and silver.
This clock was my first foray into the Steampunk art genre. The clock face is made of copper with flanking stained glass towers. Brass plumbing fitting parts enhance the industrial look.
