The blend of materials not only showcases my intricate metalworking skills, but also draws attention to the mosquito’s complex anatomy in a striking, metallic reinterpretation of nature.
That's my interpretation.
I made an intricate mosquito sculpture, that I crafted from brass, silver, some natural gemstones, sodalite and enamel resin and copper.
Each metal contributes its own texture and tone, highlighting the insect's elegant yet menacing form.
