There is a new lower class of rubbish that has emerged in the last couple of hundred years that needed removal from the cesspool of depraved souls. The task landed on my desk to build the Soul Catcher.
Beyond the Soul Catcher there lies a realm of black, burning eternal agony, so harsh that even Satan fears to reside there.
The Soul Catcher looks for the pedophile priests of all religions, with special reference to the catholic church.
Those that cause irreparable harm to the vulnerable placed in their care.
Those in the church that moved the clergy around to other locations, harming even more innocent.
Third was those outside the catholic church, who do not call the clergy to task and look away instead.
Thus the Soul Catcher, who hunts down all the evil in churches, those who want pomp and finery, who fall to avarice and the gluttony of personal success.
Soul Catcher exposes how spiritual authority can become corrupted when its about power prestige and thrones.
Death is only the start of the agony.
The central structure is a chariot of twisted metal acting as hooks made of copper and patinated brass — hollow and open at the chest to trap the darkness. The figure’s posture is both reverent and tormented .
The spikes covering the chariot are there to hook centuries of institutional weight and denial.
This is about 500 hours of work.
